Food prices are rising much faster in the UK than in other countries in Europe and
the U.S. and Canada. Supermarkets here have now reduced a range of foods in their
stores, but prices for essentials are still showing substantial rises.
Consequently,
the Supermarkets are still making indecent profits in spite of the recession, and
in spite of the fact that they have introduced a good range of “basics” at reduced
prices.
Please tell everybody which Supermarkets are still increasing their prices
and the effect it has on your budget.
