Local Councils are not always easy to deal with, and if you’ve had to tangle with
yours about anything, you will know that things can be far from pleasant. Added to
this may be your local “job’s worth” clerk or a stroppy rubbish collector and by
now you have the picture.
Local Government employees seem to forget that we pay their (more than generous)
salaries and we rightly expect a decent level of service. Whilst on the subject,
twice monthly rubbish collections are not a “decent” level of service. Can we, through
this Forum, shame our councils and ask for some changes?
Demanding , and expecting, a decent service for which we pay for, is our right.
