The BBC has finally lost all respect it once had as the number one news outlet of
our country. Gone are the days when we really believed the slogan that they existed
to entertain inform and brief us on all important matters. The real point here is
they will entertain inform and brief us on topics that they feel are important, and
sadly not the rest of the world.
Everyone now knows exactly what the BBC is up to when the directors wife is of course
Jewish. They don’t want to highlight the fact that what has arisen from the systematic
destruction of the Palestinians by Israel has left the Palestinians clinging to life
by an ethnic cleansing of its peoples.
With Israel having the most advanced propaganda machine in the world, it has been able
to hide what Has happened in Gaza keeping media reporting factions away from their
crimes against humanity.
Mark Thompson of the BBC said “Impartiality is something people want from the BBC”.
He said broadcasting an appeal would be “endorsing one prospective “. They have
not been seen to take this stance on other conflicts and one has to wander how much
is at stake for them to do this over the current problems. The National Union of
Journalists have said the BBC justifications appeared cowardly and in danger of
being politically motivated. Tony Benn has bitterly criticised the BBC live on air
and has said the reason the BBC did not air the appeal is because Israel had objected.
That is about right – you do what they say, and ignore your conscience and the suffering
of those people.
At the same time, Mark Thompson’s sense of “impartiality” is deeply
flawed and he must not be allowed to continue to occupy his position at the BBC.

After a total anilation of the Palestinians in Gaza again, and a country brought
to its knees once more, by an all powerful aggressor (Israel). In a desperate bid
to sustain some kind of life, the main Aid Agencies of the world unite to try and
help this destroyed nation by launching aid appeals to help the plight of the Palestinian
people.
But are the BBC and Sky going to broadcast the appeal and help thousands of
desperate people in trouble?
