We all know the mistakes he made and the easy going attitude and simplified view he had on world affairs but did this President do any good for America or its friends and allies.
Well the answer is yes and no, he did well for the cause of Israel eradicating Muslims left right and centre after 9/11 and continued to put pressure on states that threatened them. For Example taking out Sadam or warning Iran if they dare to attack Israel they would be wiped off the map.
Then there was Palestine that he slowly drip dried of any resources until they had little or no aid to support themselves. That punishment on top of the Israelis also closing borders and effectively shutting these people in there own country with little or no food or water or basic electricity amounts to crimes much greater than can be mentioned here.
The United Kingdom would say that by supporting America they have retained that special relationship that they have so often talked about in the past. The trouble with that is no one actually thinks it a special relationship apart from the UK. America says jump and we say how high all in the name of freedom. But exactly whose freedom are we fighting for because it certainly wasn’t the Iraqis or our own.
Also our reputation in the world has suffered from our relationship with George W and Tony Blair is just as much to blame from following this misguided soul into a war that can only be described as a total destruction of a countries unable to defend themselves properly.
Yes we have greatly suffered from George W and we must find a new direction before it is to late.
Can we hop the “wind of change” will blow over here and make our leaders follow a different route or are we destined to make the same mistakes as we always make and when the command comes to jump we will say how high.

The time has come to say goodbye to George W and let’s be honest that time has not come soon enough.
Not so much because we just did not like this man but because he just couldn’t handle himself on the world stage and quite frankly didn’t have a clue what he was talking about.
