In the UK, the Labour Government squandered huge amounts of money for many years.
In recent times it has had to fight various wars in invading other countries, shore
up the economy (and a few failing banks) to the tune of more than 100 billion pounds.
Now, it is having to make severe economies by making redundancies in essential services
such as the police, and deprive the population at large of other services.
But the Government continues to provide Foreign Aid to countries like China and India,
amongst others. Why do that when the money is so badly needed here?
